We’re only halfway through the XY Planning Network (XYPN) conference, and I have already learned six key lessons. We are part of a broader movement: bringing real financial planning to people, regardless of age or asset level. The professional organization began in 2014 with 30 founding members and is #168 on Inc. 5000’s list of fastest growing private companies in 2018, with roughly 750 current members.
There’s no question that physical, emotional, and financial health are intertwined. Financial concerns may trickle into other life domains: it is common to be more stressed, prone to health issues, and less engaged at work. My role as a CPA financial planner is to help families reverse that trend. You can live richly even if you aren’t yet “rich.”
